About the Role
As the Video Editor to the hiring company, you will be responsible for editing and producing high-quality video content for various platforms, including social media, website, and marketing campaigns. Your keen eye for visual aesthetics, proficiency in video editing software, and storytelling abilities will be instrumental in creating engaging videos that highlight our products' features, benefits, and unique selling points. You will play a pivotal role in elevating our brand's video presence and enhancing our customers' experience.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Edit and assemble raw footage into compelling videos that align with our brand's style and messaging guidelines.
Resize, reformat and iterate on raw video content received from influencers in order to get their content ready for advertising purposes.
Edit videos according to provided specifications, including aspect ratio adjustments, captioning, color correction, and basic video assembly.
Monitor and track content uploads from influencers using the content collection tool (Mighty Scout) on a daily basis (Monday to Friday).
Monitor the Content Rights Responses sheet to identify influencers whose content has been approved for editing.
Download approved content from the content collection tool and organize it for editing.
Upload the final edited videos to the appropriate Dropbox folder using the company login.
Collaborate with team members on Slack for communication and updates.
Stick to timelines and ensure all available content is edited promptly.
Troubleshoot and resolve any video editing software issues that may arise during the editing process.
Requirements:
Previous video editing experience or a solid understanding of video editing techniques.
Proficiency in using video editing software of their choice.
Strong computer skills and the ability to navigate web-based tools efficiently.
Fluent in the English language, with good communication skills.
Self-motivated and able to work independently from a remote location.
Capable of meeting deadlines and managing time effectively.
Confidence in seeking clarification and resolving issues when required.
Familiarity with common editing techniques and the ability to export videos to specified requirements.
Rate:
$7 / hour
Working Hours:
Full-time, 10hrs/week
Work Shift:
Ability to work overlapped hours with PST
